INVESTING IN SOLUTIONS
United Way invests $13.4 million in 75 Community Fund partner programs that provide a safety net of services to help people across all walks of life and levels of need. These partners use research and prevention to get the best results to help all of Rochester thrive. Here's what Community Fund investments are doing for Greater Rochester's littlest babies, most active elders and everyone in between.
OUTCOMES AND RESULTS
Programs and initiatives supported by United Way's Community Fund are monitored, measured and evaluated regularly to ensure they're achieving positive results for our community and local people in need. These results are making a real difference for local people:
- Community Fund parent education programs result in 97% of families avoiding child maltreatment, abuse and neglect.
- Students in our after-school and summer enrichment programs have one full point higher GPAs than their non-participating peers.
- We're helping 95,000 people get nutritious meals through food pantries and soup kitchens.
