Making a gift to United Way can be as simple as directing a tax-free transfer from your IRA.
DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
One of the fastest-growing vehicles for philanthropic giving are Donor Advised Funds (DAF).
Do you have a Donor Advised Fund at a financial-services firm such as Vanguard or Schwab? You can recommend gifts from that DAF to United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
