Day of Caring
Day of Caring
United Way’s annual Day of Caring, Rochester’s single largest volunteer effort, will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Mark your calendars! Information on how to register teams and projects will be coming soon.

On May 2, 2007 , more than 11,000 people took the day off from work or school to lend their time, talents, and energy to more than 500 projects in and around Rochester.

Many of the projects were done for local agencies that work hard, every day, to make our community—the place where we live and work—stronger. Besides helping these organizations, and ultimately those who they serve, volunteers had a chance to see, first hand, how United Way donations are put to good use.
