POSITION TITLE: Associate Campaign Director

UNIT/DIVISION: Resource Development

REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President for Resource Development

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage fundraising activities within the workplace-portfolio management system; Implement one to one donor relationship management. Develop and implement new account development activities. Develop effective strategies to integrate Affinity group cultivation within the workplace campaign structure.

Supervise and mentor portfolio managers to increase revenue and achieve portfolio performance measures. Work effectively in the recruitment and management of volunteers. Work closely with the Senior Vice President for Resource Development in the development of an effective strategic long-range plan. Work in conjunction with Marketing, CI, and Finance teams to achieve all organizational strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibility Area: Portfolio Management

Specific Duties: Oversee fund raising activities for assigned portfolios; provide counsel and direction to portfolio managers with account responsibilities. Maintain a comprehensive database in Sales force on all portfolio and individual donor accounts.

Track employment changes, key personnel changes. Work with portfolio managers to support assigned company coordinators to develop meaningful relationships. Increase effectiveness of individual leadership cultivation program in all assigned portfolios.

Key Responsibility Area: Volunteer Management

Specific Duties: Identify and recruit prospective volunteers; match volunteers to appropriate assignments; provide training to volunteer fundraisers and coordinators; provide formal recognition to volunteers.

Key Responsibility Area: Supervision

Specific Duties: Provide year-round supervision of all assigned portfolio managers. Manage day to day operations of workplace campaign responsibilities. Supervise all new initiative activities. Conduct annual performance reviews. Provide ongoing support and coaching as part of overall performance management system. Interview prospective new hires to fill vacant positions as needed.

Key Responsibility Area: Strategic Planning

Specific Duties: Assist the Sr. VP in formulating and implementing a strategic plan for the annual campaign effort.  Work on long range planning initiatives for the department.

Job Relationships:

External: Chief executive officers, campaign coordinators, and individual community fund donors

Internal:Inter departmental teams, co-workers

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Experience: Minimum of five years experience in fund raising or sales related areas.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to conceptualize and develop strategies, strong verbal and written communications skills, proven results.
